For a long time, I’ve been curious about skin care products from Asian countries. I was excited about trying skin care products I’ve never heard of because I was getting tired of always seeing the same things on the shelves here in Sweden. Therefore, I turned to Yesstyle, an online store filled with products from South Korea, Japan, and so on.
One of the products I ordered was the All Clean Balm by Heimish. It was something new and unique to me. I’d never tried anything similar before, and after reading about it online for some time, I decided to try it.
Heimish is a South Korean brand, but I wasn’t able to find out much about it since their website is written in Korean, and my Korean is far from useful. It seems like they mostly sell makeup products, but they also have a few skin care products, like the All Clean Balm.
How to use:
The All Clean Balm is a cleansing balm that transforms in three steps. It starts like a balm that you apply on dry skin. It instantly melts into an oil on your face as you massage it in to remove dirt and makeup. After a while add a small amount of water and the balm will transform into a milky fluid. Keep massaging, and once you’re done, rinse the product off with water.
I’ve never seen a product transform like that, so it was really fun to try it. I have dry and sensitive skin and my face usually feels very tight after a cleanser, but not after using this balm. Instead, it feels clean and moisturized. I just love how nice my skin feels afterward, and I don’t need to rush to apply a creme.
According to the package the All Clean Balm came in, it states that it’s a daily cleanser that easily removes heavy makeup. Since I don’t use much makeup, I can’t really say if that’s true, but it sure removes the small amounts of makeup that I use without a fuss.
It also states it contains natural vegetable ingredients and aroma oil, for instance, shea butter, coconut extract, and fruit and flower extracts. It’s recommended for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
The only issue I had with the product was the smell. You’re either going to love or hate it. For me, it was some getting used to, but today, it really appeals to me. Honestly, this is one of my favorite products of 2018. I use it almost every day, and I’m definitely going to buy it again. I will also, without a doubt, check out other similar products as well.
